St. John’s volunteers will help support our democracy by writing postcards to Black voters in Virginia. Getting out the vote in areas that have historically experienced voter suppression is particularly important. As in the past, we’re collaborating with Reclaim Our Vote, a voter outreach campaign of the Center for Common Ground (CCG). CCG is a minority-led, non-partisan nonprofit working to educate and empower voters of color in voter suppression states.
SIGN UP NOW to send postcards to engage people to vote in the April 21 special election on congressional redistricting maps in VA! Your envelope with addresses, postcards, stamps, and writing instructions will be available for pickup at St. John's starting on Sunday, March 8.
Also, donations of any amount are welcome to help defray the costs of stamps and supplies purchased by St. John’s volunteers. Give online using Breeze (scroll down the drop-menu to GVP). Or send a check to St. John’s with “Gun Violence Prevention” on the memo line.
